UniteBlue: Developing Revolution or Business Development Scheme on Twitter

Last edited Mon Feb 25, 2013, 01:56 PM - Edit history (1)

After researching a few weeks ago, IMO I believe this is just a data / money gathering business and think this paragraph says it all:

"To begin with, UniteBlue appears to be little more than a resume builder for an enterprise that bills itself as a “full-service Twitter consulting firm.” A sub-unit called 140Elect, and its parent company, Dev140.com, are both owned operated by the father and son team of Adam and Zach Green. It advertises itself as a pioneer of political campaigning on Twitter that says “We work with businesses, nonprofits, and political campaigns to build communities and mobilize them to act.” Apparently, this includes Republicans, Teabaggers, Libertarians, and anyone willing to pay for the service."

I was member for about a day, didn't feel need to gain more followers and had trouble getting my name removed from their "lists" - had a few nasty emails back and forth and when I deleted a tweet that was a tiny bit negative against them, they finally removed my name.
