5. Having purchased a lovely English Black Lab in the past 18 months, I can tell you

that I was sooooooo pleased that he house trained himself in 1 week. We'd run out of newspapers....

6. Every dog I ever had house trained themselves fairly quickly.

Stay vigilant and take them outside when they are about to go and they learn fast that that's the place to do their business. I just love dogs!

7. Oh, this one figured out very quickly--I mean within days--how to go stand at the door and tell his

stupid humans that he needed to potty.

I haven't had a dog since childhood. And now....he truly is a family member.
