IN RE: JOBS FUNDED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT – RUN BY THE AMERICAN WORKERS
The new jobs bill, it is just that, jobs. Highways, high speed rail, green energy projects, bridges, like President Roosevelt's WPA program.
Would need funding from the US Treasury, run by the Government, the government would borrow $3 trillion/4 trillion to fund this project. Every person that wants a job would get a livable paying job paying $100.00 per hour, that is about $208,000 per year, subtract 10% from the workers salary to pay on the debt, 5% to self insure, 5% for a retirement plan, Take 10% of his salary $208,000 a year times the amount of workers that are working, say 50 million workers times $20800 (10% of salary) is about $one trillion paid on the debt, about three years the three trillion dollar debt would be paid off, then, start over, the debt would be paid off and has provided high paying wages for the poor and middle class, about $156000.00 before taxes, raise the minimum wage to $20.00 an hr, wipe out poverty, this would provide jobs for students, part time workers looking to supplement their income. The disabled, the blind, those that can't work, the sick, living on SS receive a livable wage, we would do that by eliminating the FICA cap and the rich pay their fair share. If payment on the debt was adjusted to 10% the debt could be paid off in three years or about one trillion dollars per years, an idea that would put millions to work, the market first and foremost would be the American workers, Our country will suffer until the Federal Government takes over and tax dollars are used to provide jobs to get us out of the ditch. Four trillion dollars could be six trillion dollars or whatever is needed, it will be paid back by “we” the owners of the plan. Every part of products will be made in America which could easily lead to as much as 80 million new jobs. President Roosevelt created the WPA; lakes, dams, bridges, etc. were built. My father worked for the WPA and built the Cleveland, Oklahoma Lake that provides water for Cleveland OK and the surrounding area. However in 1936 Roosevelt was forced by the republican congress to abandon the project to pay down the debt and the people were forced back into a depression until World War 2.
The Presidents bill is not nearly enough money and will not provide nearly enough job's to fix America infrastructure, the money has been spent, it's gone, my bill will create millions of jobs and provide high paying jobs and will be paid back by the worker's, will provide health insurance for the workers and their family's, retirement plans, this bill could get us into green energy projects and other need's of America.
