Michelle Derangement Syndrome

Completely deranged...

The right wing base is absolutely demented with dim-witted anger at Michelle Obama, ranting uncontrollably today at every single right wing website. They have a special hatred for the First Lady, so over the top it sometimes seems like a parody — but of course it isn’t.

Limbaugh Pans ‘Dear Leader’ Michelle Obama’s Oscars Cameo, Compares To Apple’s ’1984′ Ad
And so they turned to Obama. It’s all about optics, Limbaugh said, and speaking of: Did you see how how giant the screen was? She was the “dear leader” of a “totalitarian state,” he remarked, comparing it to Apple’s famous 1984 commercial.

Amen. To include Democratics who are whining about there even being an Oscars show in the first place.

Sometime we just need to freakin' fun. And not take everything so seriously. I wonder sometimes if folks EVER smile in real life here. I bet you anything don't.

I guess they just can't help it.

Let's face it: most of the country is agog over Michelle. We can't get enough of her. As my late mother used to say "Nothing succeeds like success" and she sure does...

President Franklin D. Roosevelt opened the 13th Academy Awards ceremony, addressing the nation and the crowd at the Biltmore Hotel in a six-minute direct-radio-line speech from the White House. Roosevelt was the first president to participate in the Academy Awards. He declined a special invitation to Los Angeles because of the world's political climate but made the most of his time as the opening act, chatting about the Lend-Lease Act and thanking Hollywood for raising money for defense and promoting the "American way of life" in its

Here is what one person said about her appearance at the Oscars.

"It is in very poor taste, and un-American and antiquated and hearkens back to the worst of human history. That doesn't mean it was a tragedy... nobody died... but it was GROSS. The Academy should not have asked, though they have the right to do so, and she should surely have not accepted."
