2. The Kansas guard dunked a basketball at the end of the game

Apparently that is unacceptable or something.

4. Iowa State got royally fucked by a non-call on an obvious charge ...

at the end of regulation time in their game against Kansas. Kansas went on to win in overtime, so this dipshit decided that this left him free to expose himself as a racist asshole.

5. The no-call on the charge

was bad, but so was the ensuing foul called on the baseline floor, as well as Withey not picking up his 5th foul when he intentionally fouled the ISU player. The whole thing just reeked. Obviously that's no excuse for anything the aforementioned ISU fan did.

Just really bad refereeing. Some of the worst I've seen in a long time.

3. I watched that game.

ISU got absolutely jobbed by the refs at the end of regulation, but man, some people need to get perspective.

On edit: As for the guy dunking at the end of the game when they were up big, the first thing he did at the postgame press conference was apologize to ISUs coach. He said he got caught up in the moment and that he regretted it. He said it without being prompted and he sounded sincere to me.

7. It was an emotional game.

ISU had one of the longest home game winning streaks in college basketball going into the game. They really expected to win. But this racial crap and death threats is a bit much.

I don't think it is typical of ISU students. I have absolutely no interest in basketball, but these language and threats are completely ridiculous.

My daughter is going to the school for engineering. It is a very good engineering school.
