Elizabeth Jones, 22, admitted she lied about the latest rape allegation because she did not like the man she accused of attacking her, Southampton Crown Court was told.
Her latest victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested and questioned for nine hours before being released without charge.
After a judge jailed her for 16 months, it emerged today that she made her first complaint in 2004 aged just 13 before alleging other men had attacked her over the next nine years.
In 2009 she was given a ten month detention and training order for a similar offence.
Between 2005 and 2007 she had made eight other allegations, which police investigated, but she was never charged.

(6,228 posts)He was 17 and had a threesome with 2 17 year old girls. One of the girl's dad discovered them and she claimed he forced them to have sex. She convinced her friend to go along and he went through a lot of court proceedings before the friend felt guilty and came clean. Thank God for the friend because he could have been in prison otherwise.

(46,328 posts)I think of Tawana Brawley, who keeps running from the judgements against her, from the men she lied about just so she wouldn't get punished by her Dad for staying out past curfew.
How many men's lives were ruined by this sociopath, accusing men of rape just because she didn't like them?

(2,978 posts)Surely there's a rapist who knows her (if she knows 100 guys, at least 5 would be capable of it) to whom this awful thought has occurred. It's like a punishment devised by the gods. I hope for her sake she's lucky, because she'd be a serious target.
What sick, sick behavior on her part.

(36,221 posts)Yet a drop in the bucket compared to rape victims who don't prosecute or even tell anyone, and rape cases prosecuted. Sadly, it can be used by some to drag victims through the mud and used to make it seem like many women lie about rape.
Where did this happen?
