isn't putting out the names of every Corporation's - Chairmen & CEO's - their salaries - and their company's tax avoidance status. This should be communicated to all American's. Let it be known how all these companies are cheating their way to wealth on the backs of us.

Instead what the Media is doing is propping up these companies and blaming all the debt problems on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

6. Great! Taxpayers are subsidizing Verizon - and several other monster corporate profiteers.

Why? Because corporate profiteers have purchased politicians. That is called corruption. It is difficult to tell the difference between much of corporate America and organized crime.

Where to start: Constitutional amendments: Corporations are not persons, money is not speech.

Then: Structured election campaigns and controlled spending. We do not need millions of short campaign ads and lies (like FOX news channel). We need structured debates, high quality interviews, and honest resumes.

We also need a way to block jerrymandering.

It now appears we also need an expansion of the voting rights act.

But this is America. We specialize in greed, competition, war making, and stupidity.

http://www22.verizon.com/investor/app_resources/interactiveannual/2011/fin03.html - if you want to verify and double check my math.

Claims that companies paid no taxes or had "negative" tax rates, in my experience, are usually based on an inability to read an income statement. So they did pay very little for 2011 (they probably got a write-down of assets or some such simple offset), and I don't see 2012 up yet.

But it serves no good purpose to make stuff up or exaggerate.
