Steve Schmidt: CPAC ‘Star Wars bar scene’

http://www.politico.com/story/2013/02/schmidt-cpac-star-wars-bar-scene-88101.html

On the fringe. Exclusionary. The Star Wars bar scene of the conservative movement.

All of that and then some is how GOP strategist Steve Schmidt described the upcoming annual CPAC, which is under fire this week for not inviting possible 2016 presidential candidate New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

“Look, this CPAC convention is increasingly the Star Wars bar scene of the conservative movement. I mean all that’s missing at that convention is a couple of Wookiees,” Schmidt said on MSNBC on Tuesday, referencing a popular “Star Wars” fictional species.

The annual Conservative Political Action Conference organizers have been criticized recently for not including New Jersey’s Republican Gov. Christie or GOProud, a pro-Republican organization that supports same-sex marriage.

A bar filled with intergalactic Reptilian con-artist, bug eyed slave traders, scum sucking gutter pigs, and fat bald prostitutes for the highest bidder sounds GOP to me, aka just about right.

The most brilliant way I've ever heard to describe a gathering of right wingers.

Who knows what strange charismatic demagogic entities may suddenly unexpectedly emerge from the occult depths at the Bottom of the RepubliBag (R) to gin up higher intensities of fear and hate...?

"When you least expect it, you're elected. You're the Scourge of the Day! Smile, you're on Right Wing Camera!" (to be sung to the tune of "Smile, You're on Candid Camera).
