What role do republicans/conservatives play in this world?

What is their purpose in life? Are they anything more then a group of people who embellish themselves under the guise of 'higher morals' only to go around as hypocrites and liars? Every single problem we face today can be resolved but the stubborn nature of conservatives serves to delay a solution and ultimately leads to greater complications, much like how a sick patience will grow more ill if left untreated. At its core conservatism is a metal disease which causes paranoia, fear, greed, and hatred. How can conservatism even work without applying one of those four conditions?

Everything they think and say and do and believe is upside-down to reality.
It is most likely a flaw in our evolution.
Unfortunately, there is no medical test to determine upside-down syndrome, and no apparent cure for it.
