Big Ed's a good guy, but not always the calm voice of reason. He was mortally offended by RNC Chair Rinse Penis comparing President Obama to the Italian ship captain now charged with manslaughter for abandoning his passengers and crew.

Melissa Harris-Perry and James Peterson give Ed some historical perspective. It's an interesting segment as both guests are very knowledgable and well-spoken.

Also covers hate speech from Alan West and his hysterical call for anyone disagreeing with wingers to leave the country.

I tend to agree with Melissa - the Republican message stinks of desperation.
