The Bush family believes it has an entitlement to run this country. Jeb will be just another Bush in a string of Bush family members waiting in the wings to continue as a dynasty. They see themselves as the savior of the Us and democracy GOP style. Now if they can take the Hispanic vote the GOP will reign again.
Jeb will be run as the smart one. He will be positioned as a moderate even though he will be slightly right the of teabaggers. That will be the new branding. And the GOP will still be playing the same tunes they did in 1900, 1932, 1948, 1980, 2000 ad nauseam. Tax cuts and spending cuts. Balanced budgets on seniors, poor and what little is left of the middle class. Meanwhile $1 for defense and two more wars. How about China.

(10,602 posts)by that time the GOP will have had enough time to rig and sequester the vote in their favor. They could do enough damage to the voting that even a Santorum could win. When I watch all the crap they are doing at the state level. If they can gerrymander and suppress the votes in enough of the states in 2014 and get more control they will act to change the electoral votes if they know they have the power and do not stop.
As of now I do not see the Democrats taking aggressive action against their schemes. My assessment is that they are likely to succeed.

Titan vs. Titan
Two legends. Going up against each other for the soul of the nation.
Something we were denied in that LBJ did not go head to head with Nixon
Kennedy did not go head to head with Reagan
It will be the epic match of all time.
And Hillary will get 450 electoral votes and permanently end the Bush dynasty.
And i truly hope 41 is healthy and well in 2017, to see Hillary Rodham Clinton inaugurated as President45, with Bill Clinton and Barack Obama flanking her.
Then in 2018, Hillary nominates and smooth passage by the Senate of New Supreme Court Justice Barack Obama.
(and I expect Chris Christie to be Jeb's VP).
