Would someone just drive a stake through Newt’s heart, um, chest?

Newt knows he’s going to be crushed in today’s primary here in Florida. And it’s turned him into a worse stench than he’s ever been (if that’s possible).

He’s been scampering around the state telling each and every ethnic group how much Romney hates their existence. His desperation is out in full view, and he’s behaving like a rabid dog spewing his poison on everyone with whom he comes in contact.

If this were the end of Newt’s campaign, it might be barely tolerable. But IMO, he’s not going to give up and go away. I believe we’re going have to endure another month or two of his presence on the public scene.

Many believe that the current GOP primary, featuring “Newt the Nasty,” will help Obama win in November. I don’t buy it. The American public has an incredibly short memory, Republican governors have already disenfranchised countless Democratic voters nationwide, and the voting machines most of us use might just as well be the private property of the GOP.

Anyhow, that’s my current view from down here in Palm Beach County. But I’d like to hear your views on whether or not Newt will go away, and also, what impact this disgusting primary will have on November’s election.

The subject line may be interpreted as evincing an intent which I am sure you do not have, but which conveys a poor impression.
