I have successfully boycotted Celebrity Apprentice

Growing sick of Donald trump's birther attacks on the President, I decided to ween myself off trump's business entities. I used to watch apprentice in all its incarnations. I have been able to stick to my principles and have not watched the new season.

9. How difficult is it to 'boycott' shows like this?

I have successfully 'boycotted' Apprentice, Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, The Bachelor, Real Housewives of..., and many, many more. (I had to do a search to come up with the names.)

11. i have enjoyed the contestants and so it was difficult for me not to watch this season

last season I stopped watching after trump jr went hunting in Africa and killed a beautiful leopard for 'sport'.

he's a complete jerk.

I've successfully boycotted all broadcast and cable television this year. No Superbowl, no Academy Awards, nothing. What are they advertising on television lately? I don't know, and I like it this way.

I've never liked Trump himself, but Mark Burnett sure is good at making you feel, however staged and trickily edited his shows might be, that you're eves-dropping on real people ('celebrity' or otherwise) going through many of the same psycho-social trials and tribulations that we enjoy guilt-free in fictional TV shows, movies and novels, and so I used to quite enjoy the Apprentice -- especially before those so called 'celebrities' took it over to revive their sagging careers! -- despite Trump's creepy narcissism, petty spitefulness, and self-important pomposity.

But that was before he revealed how TRULY nasty and crass he is during his mercifully brief run for the Presidency and with this obsessive and transparently racist 'birther' nonsense, given that only a man who would himself try to pull such a stupid and reckless stunt as lying about where you were born in order to become President could imagine someone else doing it! So I decided to never give this odious man another penny in advertising revenue, and therefore wholly and enthusiastically support your boycott , samsingh.
