Thank you to the many DU'ers who have helped shrink the vast universe of my ignorance.

Thank you to the many DU'ers who speak up when they hear lies, bigotry and hatred.

Thank you to the many DU'ers who sing in defiance of curbs on our free speech, who carry signs in protest marches, who drive voters to the polls, who stand on overpasses with lighted messages, and who are activists in countless other ways.

Thank you to the many DU'ers who have courteously and constructively disagreed with me.

Thank you to the many DU'ers who had already defended my position before I got around to it.

Thank you to the many DU'ers who have made me laugh, or cry.

Thank you to the many DU'ers who introduced me to new art, new ideas and new ways of thinking.

Thank you to the many DU'ers who volunteer their time and money to make this a better world.

And finally, thank you to the many DU'ers who contribute to making this the most mutually supportive forum, ever.
