All this talk about the 2016 election...I am begging you stop missing the forest for the trees...we
need to focus Nationally on every little local election we can discuss and assist in...
I repeat...Discuss and assist in...as in these elections should be important and critical to us as Democrats...We need to get it together and get this board focused on what we can do to change this trend of Religious Fundamentalistic Oligarchic Corptocracy taking over our Representational Democracy.
From Senator down to City Council Members...
While some still crow about us getting President Obama elected twice in this crazy world of neolithic politicians we (some of us) are seriously missing the big picture...
The Regressive party of the Republicans who wish us all go back to the policies of a mix of years...namely 1928 and 1861 are succeeding in creating massive in-roads into local politics securing that THEY are in control of every State's Policies, Laws and Mandates...
WE HAVE TO REVERSE THIS!
We have to reverse this trend NOW...please I beg of you...help every Democrat succeed in ousting these frightening nutbags from any position of power...
And the way to do that is to get serious; discuss and support all campaigns for Democrats...unless they have already shown they are Blue Dog DINO's or Third Way Appeasers... lets get the discussions going...Tell us who to support in your state...when are the Elections happening...who will they be running against...
EVEN if its only City Council or house of Reps...TELL us about it so that we can trend what is happening in your state...
I for one want to see these creeps cry in agony that the Corporations Billions won't buy them the time of day again...and I want to see these Corporations be taken down a peg by "The people" of this country and regulated again so that they can do no more harm to our Democracy...
Yes I know the Supreme Court is still screwing us with Citizen United and other political footballs...but we can't do anything to them unless we take the House and Senate and then demand term limits and prosecutions against Supreme Court Justices for Judical misconduct...They of course exempted themselves from any Judicial restraint or regulation...
Ok i'll get off my soap box...I just wish this coutry would get back to being more...HUMANE to its people...

Who wants to wax poetic about something happening many moons from now is on my ignore list. Know why? Elections aside - we have elected officials NOW that need to be bullied - I mean - 'influenced' by the left and progressives to get shit done.
It's unacceptable that they (the Republican House) is holding this country hostage just because they want to stick it to the weakest, poorest, most vulnerable Americans for shits and giggles. 
And yet - we sit up here and have people arguing about this person or that person in 2016. 
You know - it won't matter - unless we get active now - they'll win. Because they'll steal it. Because they know we are chumps who can be played just as much as their base gets played. While you were arguing - we just stole the White House again.
Do you want the Fox News Hitler Ayn Rand Koch Worship Tea Party to remain in control? No? Then let's start doing something about it now!!
