I am lucky enough to have not had to live through such a tragedy. Your son was too young to leave us so soon.

I don't live in Tennessee but I pass through there at least once a year. I'll be thinking about you and your son for sure the next time I'm passing through.

You must miss him terribly.

I would end with this

But judging from his pictures, suspect this is more appropriate

Thanks for sharing his spirit here.

It looks like he was a handful, but also lot of fun, probably all at the same time.

I don't know what to say except I'm sorry.

We're all at the mercy of some fluke taking us or a loved one in an instant and ... just Damn...

Not fair, but there's no one to complain to.

My girlfriend was killed in a car accident in August 1984-she hydroplaned on a highway into an oncoming car coming home from work.. We dated all through HS-met as sophmores and 3 years in college. We planned to be married right after graduation. Her death still bothers me to this day ...and at times I still think about her.

Met my wife in 1990 and we have an incredible relationship and love each other very much-could not ask for a nicer wife...but Lori F. was THE LOVE of my life...I know that sounds bad towards my wife but it is too hard to explain in words how I feel. Most people would not understand...maybe it's the lack of closure..we never were able to say goodbye..don't know..

Should of had therapy but never did.

This book helped me:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/781844.On_Death_and_Dying

Grieving is a biological process, as uncontrollable as puberty. The best we can do is understand it more completely.
