have the good sense to keep a low profile, especially at the time of the 10th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. Either they don't think they did anything wrong or they just don't care. The world is just a big game board for them. The real people affected by their actions are of no consequence.

I don't know why, but this little smug bastard irks me more than most of them. What is he an authority of? How to screw up an occupation and lose billions of dollars?

why does the media keep going back to these clowns when they were WRONG on EVERYTHING and those of us opposed to the war were right? Why not some more interviews with people like President Obama, Michael Moore, Phil Donahue, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, et. al who all opposed the war before, as they say, opposing the war was "cool"?

Prosecution of these guys (and gals) is obviously not on the table (at least not by anybody here), unfortunately, but the more they keep popping up and demonstrating their utter lack of accountability and remorse for their advocacy of invading/occupying Iraq, somebody- in the future- might be more tempted to go after them.

What on earth are they thinking? If they want to have these people on their shows, it should be to ask them about the invasion and occupation of Iraq. It certainly shouldn't be to ask for their "expert" opinion about the Middle East today. Well, they were 100% wrong ten years ago, so they should know what is right today? This is absolutely insane.

From now on, whenever I see any of them on TV, I'm writing the network to complain. I already emailed Morning Joe. Damn it, journalists DO YOUR JOB! You let them get away murder before, and now you invite them for coffee and donuts?

repuke (whose name I have mercifully blocked in my mind). He was there to "rebut" Krugman, among other things. Of course, he was laughable.

I do a lot of laughing when I watch that show these days...either that, or my time on DU gets a bit longer and the TV gets a rest...

Joe asks a guy who heads a right-wing think tank if Krugman was wrong and "guy" says he was and Joe feels all vindicated. Joe must bring up Krugman's name several times a week, quoting him totally out of context.

He totally misrepresented what Alan Blinder said about his colleague, Paul Krugman, and then, even after Blinder called Joe out about it in Politico, there was no apology or any comment whatsoever from Scar. I wrote to the show on their website and pointed the article out and listed the link. Crickets...

"Joe is stunningly superficial", something Joe repeats often, evidently with some perverse pride.

I watched the show the day Krugman was on and Joe took what Krugman said and reduced it to one sentence, which totally misrepresented what he said. I missed the Alan Blinder remarks though.

and completely distorted it and said Blinder agreed with HIM and against his fellow economist. Blinder just blistered Joe in an article in Politico and pointed out the gross distortion by Joe. You could tell he was really pissed. Krugman referenced Blinder's Politico article in his daily blog, which I how I found it. I'm loving Krugman's daily blogs! If you have a NYT subscription you can get it (or you can get it if your library does).

You might be able to get Blinder's article thru Google, too. It's worth a read and you'll just love it!

I'm off to Google now!

I've seen what Joe has done to other people he just didn't care for and it often was rather ugly. Sometimes it came across as some personal petty grudge. MSNBC has let him get away with some pretty nasty and outrageous crap. He really needs some ego alterations.
