Could Jenny Sanford Endorse Elizabeth Colbert Busch?

Jenny Sanford and Elizabeth Colbert Busch have discussed having the former governor's ex-wife endorse the Democratic nominee and Mark Sanford's potential congressional election opponent, Patch has learned.

Multiple sources, including from within the Colbert Busch campaign, said that the two women have met and the subject had been brought up. The sources did not want to be identified because they were not at liberty to discuss the matter on the record.

Sources outside the Colbert Busch campaign said that Sanford and Colbert Busch travel within the same circles in the Charleston area and an endorsement has been discussed.

Jenny Sanford has not returned calls or emails seeking comment.

If Jenny did do that, it would be a beautiful thing to watch.

Ya know, it's one thing to fall in love with someone else. But there are much better, kinder, honest, mature ways to get out of a marriage. He wanted his cake and wanted to eat it too, the slime bucket.

That's without mentioning what he did to the people of his state by abandoning them with no way for anyone to reach him or for having his staff (probably unknowingly) lie for his sorry ass.
