"I'm not (black). So I'm not going to marry one"

I imagine 50 years ago

We could easily mildly edit conservative Georgian Saxby Chambliss' position opposing gay marriage as it would have appeared then.

"I'm not (black). So I'm not going to marry one"

Or the classics in a language he'd find comforting:

Ich bin kein Jude. Also werde ich nicht man eine heiraten

Given their words and deeds, I'd say you can leave off the "I suspect." Chiyo-chichi Mar 2013 #2

Elected only to serve their own interests, and those of their largest campaign donors.

I'm not a woman, so I don't care about equal pay.

I make more than minimum wage, so I don't care how low minimum wage is.

I can't get pregnant, so I don't care about access to abortion.

I have health care, so I don't care about those who don't.

I have a job, so I don't care about the unemployed.

I'm not gay and no one in my family is gay, so I don't care about gay rights.

I don't drive on that bridge, so why should I care if it's structurally sound?

That soldier did his/her job, but now that they're disabled they can't, so why should we provide health care for them?

The banking industry donates lots of money to my campaign, and I haven't been harmed by anything they've done, so why investigate or prosecute?

I made lots of money on my investments due to the war in Iraq, why would I want anyone from the Bush Administration to be prosecuted for a little lie?

I'm set for life, and so are my kids and grandkids. Why should I care if Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid are cut, my family will never be dependent on them.

I suspect that's what most Republicans think.

Also werde ich nicht man eine heiraten.

That should be either
Also werde ich keinen heiraten. (refering to jew, which has a male gender in german)
or
Also werde ich keine heiraten. (refering to a jewish woman)

That's kind of the point. Everyone gets to marry whoever they want.

I'm not a woman, so I am not going to marry one?
Come on now, some people need to get a better grip on life here. Some things can be taken at face value. This is one of them.
