I wanted to share something I found while Googling. Someone had posted in another thread that they had always hated the color pink.
Pink is a color denoting kindness, caring and nurturing, as posted on this site:

Now, look at the color pink and its description as a healing therapy. See these words:
"Excessive pink may incline toward excessive passivity."
I find that interesting and enlightening when I think about the Susan G. Komen Foundation's use of the color pink.

I hate when stores fill with the annual load of pink kitschy shit.

(22,845 posts)I had one dress that was black with tiny white polka dots that I wanted to wear constantly. My mother tried hard to discourage me, saying black was not suitable for little girls. Pink, she said, was appropriate.
Not for me, it wasn't.
I still despise pink, 56 years later.
