Imagine the unemployment rate if public sector jobs weren't slashed. 7.5-7.2%. Maybe lower.

(35,349 posts)3. Lighten up, I just took that as tongue in cheek remark. Nine times out of ten
the Wall Street gurus always find bad news no matter how good a report. Like if they ended the war in Afghanistan tomorrow they would be talking how it will hurt defence contractors. If the unemployment gets below 6% they will be saying it will put pressure on wages and inflation is just around the corner..
