To me, it seems sort of fraudulent

...to run a non-profit and use the monies to fund many different political interests. It seems to me that the monies donated to the non-profit should be used directly or indirectly to further the cause it is purported to support.

Lawrence O'Donnell mentioned on his show that he had donated substantially to the Breast Cancer research cause and he had no idea what the money was being used for? I'm sure there are many of us in the same situation. It seems dishonest, to say the least.

On top of that, should the head of a non-profit, such as Hope for the Cure, receive a salary of $500K or more per year? Doesn't that seem out of line also?
