Gingrich on Jobs Data: ‘I Haven’t Seen Them Yet’

LAS VEGAS — At least one Republican presidential candidate is not trying to frame Friday’s better-than-expected unemployment report as a failure of President Barack Obama.

When reporters here asked Newt Gingrich for comment on the jobs numbers as he shook hands with voters at a mostly empty saloon, the former House speaker replied, “No, I haven’t seen them yet.”
