I wonder if Susan Komen is turning in her grave.

This has bothered me all day...especially after reading the the head of Komen makes almost $500K a year and also after watching the political contortions Komen has gone though. From what I have read, Susan Komen was a wonderful young woman, loved by all. I wonder if she would be appalled at what has gone on in her name. Sad.

she very likely imbibed of the Koolaid come election time and dutifully voted Republican. However, what I've read about her is inconsistent with what those vultures have been doing in her name for so many years.

I'm glad this has finally come to a head and all the filthy laundry is out there for everyone to see. Only 30% of the some $400,000,000 they've been raking in annually has gone to research, most has gone to lobbying, marketing, and management.

There are other groups collecting money for breast cancer research and a cursory Google search will turn them up. And they won't make you march and wear pink.

"From everything I've read about her...," everyone keeps claiming. Well, I've been searching awhile and what I have learned so far is:

1. She got cancer and died.

It sure would be nice if someone would back up their assertion that she was pro-choice.
