Today is Wednesday, the day that Rachel and Chris Hayes will begin covering the SS cuts....

according to some. So let's see. So far, Hayes has started with background checks.

Will we continue to spin excuses for why they can't even mention it? This is ridiculous.

But as you said, let's see if it is really discussed. In other words, let's see if any criticism is allowed. I'm sure David Corn, an MSNBC analyst, would be available to discuss it from the left.

I appreciate that he is intelligent and fact driven. It just isn't making for good TV in this timeslot.

If they aren't covering it by the end of tonight...I'd wonder why.

And, I have no idea why...beforehand...

and said "raising the cap" will never happen.

Heather McGhee calling bullshit; pointing out that SS is not the deficit driver. Hayes in favor of raising the cap/raising taxes. Alter counters by claiming that then "the seniors will get all the money and our children will have nothing".

that he had Cancer and part of his treatment was covered by some Repug Somebodies, and that's why he changed. When I first read Jonathan he was anti NAFTA Passing and did reporting on Clarence Thomas that favored Anita Hill. As I remember he disappeared for awhile (maybe the cancer therapy) but after he came back he became more and more right leaning. But, he's still put on those shows as a Dem Leaning reporter when he isn't.

I wish I could remember the news report about his Cancer and the treatments...who paid. It was back before the Internet took off so I'm thinking it could have been from one of the "Magazines" that was still in business at that time.

Anyway whatever ...something changed him and he's no longer what I'd call liberal. He can talk a good talk...but, then he puts out a zinger that's Repug...

His show is so boring, I miss Bid Ed. What a coincidence that he was moved to Sat afternoon.

Mattie brought up the changes in tax code. Wish they would give her more time to discuss that point.
