Fox News deletes Ann Coulter column that suggested killing Meghan McCain

http://www.poynter.org/latest-news/mediawire/209958/fox-pulls-ann-coulter-column-that-advocates-killing-meghan-mccain/

Fox News has apparently taken down a column written by Ann Coulter that made a reference to killing blogger Meghan McCain in order to push Republicans to vote for gun-control laws.

The column in question, published on Fox Nation Wednesday, made the apparent joke to point out what it would take for Republicans to join Democrats in passing gun-control legislation.

... Meghan McCain was not at all pleased with Coulter’s comments, taking to Twitter late Wednesday: "Apparently Ann Coulter made a joke about me being killed in a recent column. I should expect nothing less but disgusted regardless. My father is a very famous politician. My family gets a lot of threats. Joking about me being killed really isn't funny or appropriate."

She continued to address the matter on Thursday: "A little perspective this morning. People like ann coulter are part of the past and only live to spread hate and negativity. I literally couldn't imagine living a life that seems so void of love, compassion, and perspective. Basically I get to wake up every day wanting to make this world a better place and people like her want to make it a worse place. I feel blessed to have not grown to be a person like that."

I'm a bit confused by a lot of their comments. Why are they calling Ann Coulter a moderate conservative and in some cases even a liberal (someone said liberal vs liberal) WTF alternate world are they living in? I'd hate to see what these people think the country should look like.

All about being "the weaker sex" or some such shit. Anyone other than your standard white male is regarded as weak and "weak" is the same as "liberal."

That's the method they use to classify the world.

All legitimate media outlets should refuse to put her on their shows and broadcasts as well effective immediately.
