Former chief of staff to break silence on Michele Bachmann

Former chief of staff to break silence on Michele Bachmann

WASHINGTON – GOP operative Andy Parrish, a former chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, is expected to tell an Iowa Senate ethics panel that her 2012 presidential campaign made improper payments to its state chairman.

Having maintained a public silence so far, Parrish referred questions Wednesday to his attorney, John Gilmore, who said his client will corroborate allegations from another former Bachmann aide, Peter Waldron.

Could this be the straw that causes bachmann to lose her next term? One could hope.

not to mention that as a taxpayer I contribute to her trip!

Send her into outer space; that's where she probably came from in the first place!

couldn't get elected here in MN-6.

The folks that voted for Rep. Bachmann would view anyone left of her as a RINO. Seriously! Around here the folks that vote for Bachmann consider ignorance a virtue and stupidity something to be aspired to.

That district was created to have a majority of snowbillies. Thankfully I have always lived in the city and been represented over the years by Keith Ellison, Martin Sabo and Don Fraser, liberal icons all. The Sixth is an exurban hell.

Gilmore said Parrish can provide the ethics panel documentary evidence that Sorenson was paid $7,500 a month to work on Bachmann’s campaign, money that was funneled to him indirectly through C&M Strategies, a Colorado-based company controlled by Bachmann fundraiser Guy Short.

Among the sources of the funding, Waldron contends, was Bachmann’s independent political organization, MichelePAC, also headed by Short. Attorneys for Short have denied the allegations, which also are part of the FEC inquiry.

Sorenson rocked the Bachmann campaign in the waning days of the Iowa caucuses when he left to join the campaign of rival Ron Paul. At the time, Bachmann suggested that Sorenson’s defection was prompted by money.

So Sorenson left Bachmann for Ron Paul, where she suggests his defection was prompted by money. More money on a lesser losing campaign? Was that money legit? Does Paul have a problem, too?

Here's hoping crazy Michelle is toast. Bye-bye, Michelle.

this is all a plot by the DFL - completely ignoring that it is her own staff making the allegations.

Circus sideshow freak. She is only in it for the celebrity status. As for the people that keep voting for her, well... maybe some of those 10,000 lakes have some serious contaminants in them. I'm going to dictionary.com and look up 'doofus.' I'm sure her picture has to be there.
