In one the most jaw dropping displays of fake outrage in recent history, Fox contributor Steven Crowder let loose a diatribe against President Obama for daring to speak of his religion as the basis of his politics. Yes, the Right Wing of the country, the same people that have stated repeatedly, on camera, that the United States of America is a Christian country and that the Constitution is based on the Bible are upset that the president of that same Christian country bases his decisions on the teachings of Jesus.
And now my world has finally turned inside out.

Now, Im an atheist so I find all claims of God as the basis for morality to be highly suspect but thats none of my business as long as you dont impose your beliefs on me. I DO, however, take note when Jesus is used to justify greed, hate and atrocities around the globe. The juxtaposition of Love they neighbor and Turn the other cheek with Socialism is evil and Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran as the boiler plate platform of the conservative Right is bizarre, to say the least. But apparently, claiming Jesus as the source of your personal inspiration to share your wealth with those less fortunate is just one step too far for conservatives, that most religious of peoples.

The conservatives will say anything, ANYTHING to put down Democrats.
Hypocrisy doesn't bother them because they don't conceive of their words as having concepts.
To them these words have no intrinsic meaning, they are simply a tool to attack with and nothing more.
The effect on others is the only consideration.
What the words mean is totally irrelevant.
You can't be hypocritical if what you say is meaningless.

It seems the rightwing believes in separation of church & state when it's most convenient for them.
And so it goes for their disdain and their fear of Obama's stealing their "gimmick" in garnering votes. Obama has credibility over those who wrap themselves in a religious cloak while going against the grain of Jesus' teachings in their policies.
