Every now and then, I think about the disruptive technologies that are about to change the world. Ok, more often than that. Now, I understand what the most disruptive technology will be in the next few years:
Self-cooking omelets.
That will change restaurants and cafeterias across the country. Nay, across the world! Need a quick breakfast? Pull the tab on a self-cooking omelet and you'll be good for hours. In a third-world country? These will be easy to ship and guaranteed to turn a profit. Add mushrooms or sausage, and watch the profit skyrocket without rocket fuel (assuming, of course, you don't also add refried beans).
Seriously people, this could change the world. Don't ignore it!

Don't complain. Count your blessings. You will fly in a car someday.
I see all.

(26,549 posts)They have a variety of hot food, not just omelets. They also include a heater to reheat the food (add water to the heater pouch, and it gets hot).

(13,921 posts)You thought the mini doughnut cooker was awesome? No, tis but a mere shadow of what is to come. I present, for your fawning approval, the Bacon Cooker. An appliance. With a cord. And a single, lonely, glorious purpose. To provide mortal man with a little taste of heaven.
Wait... Ive said too much. forget what you heard. Its trademarked. Copyrighted. You cant have it. Mine. All mine. The precious.
