GOP NY State Senator Greg Ball Rants About Torture on CNN, Then Leaves Show During Commercial

Last edited Mon Apr 22, 2013, 10:17 PM - Edit history (1)

Right-wing NY rising star, State Senator Greg Ball, made some headlines when he sent out a tweet advocating for the use of torture for Boston bombing suspect Dzhokar Tsarnaev, saying "So, scum bag #2 in custody. Who wouldn't use torture on this punk to save more lives?"

Tonight, he appeared on Piers Morgan Live to defend his tweet, but it didn't stop there. In typical right-wing fashion, Sen. Ball did not stop ranting about being a "red blooded American" who supported torturing this man, who Piers reminded was an American citizen who committed his crime on American soil. He even told Morgan "should I say it in a British accent for you."

Piers invited him to stay for another segment, but it must have been too much for the "red blooded American." In the words of Morgan, "he has apparently left the building."

EDIT: Not only didn't he stay for one more segment after saying he would, but about 30 minutes later, he showed up on, surprise, Hannity! And for reference, it takes about 4 to 5 minutes to go from the Time Warner Center to the News Corp building.

but oh my god when he opened his mouth on Piers. He made Michelle Bachman look sane. He was trying to make a name for himself and he succeeded.

"He made Michelle Bachmann look sane"

I couldn't of said it better! I know of Greg Ball a little bit because he represents a part of NY where I spend quite a bit of time, so as soon as Piers said his name, I rolled my eyes and knew it would be good. I had no idea it would be like THAT!

Watch him now play the typical "I'm a victim of the evil left wing media" card and cry on the right-wing's shoulder. I can see it now!

I was in the kitchen and heard this right-wing nut rant coming from the TV. Sure enough, it was some Republican wind bag talking about using a baseball bat on suspects because they are scum.

Then, in typical wing-nut fashion they start attacking the person they are debating with and he started hurling insults at Piers Morgan. Piers asked him to stay after the break but he "left the building."

What an ass.

I think Cheney has "Abu Ghraib's Greatest Hits" on his I-pod, and he shares with his buddy Limbaugh(ger). I've read somewhere that Cheney was planning the torture before planning the war, and I was'nt surprised. As I've posted here previously, torture is mostly good for eleciting false confessions. Ask any smart cop - kick the crap out oof your suspect, fuck up the arrest, and the perp - the suspect, or not - ends up walkin'.
