To think that these horrible pics are being spread while we have troops on FOREIGN SOIL fighting for our freedom. It certainly denigrates our troops and their mission to see people criticizing their Commander in Chief. I tell you one thing...I cannot BELIEVE how much people will put their hatred for this President over the love of this country.

I agree that I am not, and will never get through to the poster, but FB doesn't happen in a vacuum. Our common friends and all of his friend will see this exchange.

so you don't have far to go. I've had some harsh words for a few of them lately and the result is they've jumped on my case and had a few of my posts erased. It's too easy to do that here and so if you're hypercritical about right wing subjects you can expect a few alerts. I recently had a post erased for, if you can believe it, calling a certain right wing country a bunch of Nazis. Freedom of speech has gone all to hell here and I don't spend much time on this website any more.

They are here in teams and backing each other up. I had a post hidden simply because I insinuated that someone was a romney voter. Freedom of speech hasn't gone to hell. They are simply trying to use it against us. Do not succumb to them. The right is now fully aware that the internet defeats them. That is why they are here throwing mud and trying to diffuse it.

12. Seems like you're running into the Republican situational patriotism problem.

They're loyal to the country as long as there's a Republican president. When there's a Democrat in office they hoard gold, store canned fruits in their basement armories, and all but root for the coming collapse.

I think there must be a phantom country called "Republican United States of America" that they are loyal to. And when that country goes away and there's only the E Pluribus Unam United States of America left standing, they enter into a kind of Cold War mentality. They won't shoot us, but they'll do anything up to that point--deception, propaganda, scapegoating, jamming up the gears of legislation--just to make sure the United States fails, the economy falters, and the enemy regime revents to Republican America.

NOT our freedom. However, since the right wingers fervently preach that the US's endless wars are for our freedoms, it's a great, very effective smackdown & shines a bright light on their hypocrisy. And it's quite true that these right wingers put their hatred for President Obama over any love they may profess for their country.

My cousin has been spreading a lot of her right wing porn on Facebook lately. I wanted to smack her down but the family is going through a serious mental health crisis with another cousin and I felt it just wasn't the time to spread dsicord. I know she is doing it and doesn't seem to care, but I don't want to sink to her level.

So I just took her off my newsfeed so she didn't piss me off any further.
