The big gun dealer/NRA dilemma.

The stores are all, still out of ammo. So the political antics of the NRA of late, has led the hoarders and gatherers to buy up every cartridge across America, so that people who hunt and sport shoot can't find anything to load up with. pResident Wayne of the NRA shot his wad on the firearms legislation by screaming nonstop, "They're Coming To Take Your Guns Away!" All the hoarders stampeded and bought all the ammo, high capacity magazines and even many models of firearms, so that now, the folks who really have supported the NRA for all these years, are having to wait for shooting/spring hunting supplies. The NRA/Big Wayne has fanned the BIG SCARE, to a point that is starting to burn his knee jerk ass and I think it's funny as hell!

Not having anything to sell is bound to be very uncomfortable for the gun shops too.

1. I was at our local Fleet Farm store yesterday

and they had plenty of .223 ammo. The shelves for handgun ammunition were pretty bare. They didn't even have much .22 ammo.

2. Its coming back now - ARs, 10+ mags, and ammo

Still spotty in some areas and prices are still elevated about 25% (sometimes more), but products are coming back on shelves.

While its true that empty shelves does not help business, it is plenty good to sell your inventory completely at elevated prices and then have supplies replenish. People were making double or triple profits.

Laugh all you want, but I sold used Saiga 12 mags for $50 each when I could have only gotten about $20 previously.
