Holy SHIT! A charter in Oregon had two masked gunman run into a teacher's meeting and start shooting blanks. This is insane! I would bet you that every single one of those teachers are still having nightmares about this.

I don't know why but this infuriates me. Just another incidence of teachers being treated like garbage, I guess.

as it's a charter, i advice the staff to sue their ass off and complain to the charter authorizer. they have no business running a school.

Don't know if it was a charter. But during an intruder drill, they fired blanks in the hall so the kids thought there was a gunman.

Brandon Lee, although in his case, it propelled a bullet that had been lodged in the barrel of the gun previously. Also I remembered this from when I was a boy.

So yes, blanks kill the same way that any projectile can kill.

the gunmen were also members of the school staff. I suspect that will make for awkward conversation later on. Or at least, it should. Sue the fuck out of this "school".
