(14,337 posts)It was covered by my employer insurance 100%. NO CO-PAY. So we are are going backward BEFORE 40 years ago? When do we get our hoop skirts and corsets again?
Edit: Sorry, I forgot. I ALSO took the Pill as a pre-teen 50 years ago for MEDICAL, not contraceptive, reasons. We got them from my Dad's UNION CLINIC, totally FREE.
I suppose some people have no idea how many DECADES the Pill has been around, and how many women have take it for both birth control, and medical reasons

(14,337 posts)Yes, they covered the Pill with no co-pay, but ALL scripts had no co-pay. The Pill was considered no different than any other script.
As a child? Well, UNION benefits, and a UNION CLINIC, were totally free of cost for all services. My Dad paid Union dues and that is where the money came from.
