As someone who's one (and so far only) marriage ended in divorce, I absolutely know that even though my husband may have left me for another woman, the state of other people's marriage has absolutely no bearing on mine.

Here's another thing, and perhaps I need a separate thread for this. There have been many times when I have advised heterosexual couples to get married because of the protections and benefits that accrue from marriage The more I think about it, the angrier I can get that two people who happen to be of the same gender can't get the same protections and benefits.

I've gotten pretty pissed off trying to diet and people around me tempting me with those delicious Boston creme donuts!

Before anyone jumps on me, I am %100 for equal rights for our LGBT brothers and sisters.

Just saying, donuts are pretty fucking delicious!

I was told by my best friend that around her area a few years back...

There was a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop, the ones with the donut making machine, sharing a parking lot next to a gym.

I will just say, I went in to a tirade calling the owner a jerk-wad and laughing at them for going out of business.
I mean come on, it is a lose lose scenario no matter what.

People in the gym, would smell the donuts as their doors open, and people buying donuts would feel guilty at being looked at with dirty looks by those going in to the gym.
