(37,305 posts)He needs better managers who keep his agencies from embarrassing him who are less interested in covering up problems and more interested in fixing things. Our agencies need a big dose of transparency and accountability and a rehash of what the boundaries of their powers are.

The op seems to be either saying that Obama should not be getting advice from said journalist (fair comment, but there is zero indication and no reason to believe he convened the meeting to get their advice) or it is saying that Obama's advisers should not have suggested he meet with such journalist - to which I can only ask, "wtf not?".
