...but that doesn't mean that he should be charged with "aiding the enemy" when his motivation wasn't to help Al Qaeda.

The analogy has millions of names and other identifiers being released. Can you show that even one name was released to the public via Manning? Any identification of any kind? Because if you can't, then this is not an analogy at all, not just a bad one, it isn't one.
