Huffington post headline, George w Obama. They never miss an opportunity to slam the president

and even though the criticism is valid, the garbage hypocritical media in this country seem to forget that they helped provide the misinformation and fear that gave us the patriot act

So how about an editorial calling for abolishing the patriot act?

Other then progressives, or the few progressive comments, most of the talking points that will be blathered by the msm will be attacking the administration, instead of actually reviewing history. We do not want to do that though because then people would realize that their really are very few journalists in this country today

Bush is no longer president, thank everything. This is on Obama now. It is his call. He deserves the focus and the criticism. All those who attempt to justify this because the worst president in history started it are hypocritical apologists or fascists. It is the weakest, lamest argument to blame bush for Obama's policies.

Not a single one of them mentioned that ALL the records were are combinations of phone numbers and that if the government wants to wiretap on any of them, proof of potential criminal or terrorist activity HAS to be proven and a court order granted before the government can wiretap any number in the database. It is fucking sad that commentators have such a lopsided point of view that they won't mention facts that are most likely to blow their arguments sky high.

And the first response is well that was past we are dealing with now. The problem is they did not deal with it in the past, and because of that the abuse continues
