Obviously, the U.S. Census Bureau website will be a start. I was hoping that someone who was familiar with it could direct me to the right page. I'm looking for the demographic breakdown of suburban cities in Florida, by race and by religion. If I can get a time lapse of what it was like ten years ago, and what it is today, it would be the ideal situation.
Probably not a good idea to post this on a Friday, but if I don't get any responses, I'll try again on Monday.

(8,830 posts)use the 2010 Census Interactive Population - you can track it down to very small segments.

Religious affiliation is no longer collected by the Census, but they do collect business data so you might be able to extrapolate something from that.
Edited: You can look at earlier censuses, also - same way.
Edited again: Try looking at the Pew polls - they may give you enough on religion.

(46,737 posts)I did find this about religious affiliation on the U.S. Census website, but the link doesn't work:
We do publish economic data on Religious Organizations down to the county and ZIP Code level in the County Business Patterns series. Religious organizations are comprised of (1) establishments primarily engaged in operating religious organizations, such as churches, religious temples, and monasteries and/or (2) establishments primarily engaged in administering an organized religion or promoting religious activities. Additionally, the County Business Patterns series provides data on used merchandise stores that are operated by religious organizations.

The Pew polls would probably be better, but I honestly don't know if they break down to city level.
