2. those were some incredible pictures. whoever took the one of the cat--I hope tried to rescue it.

looking at those flood prevention walls--are they temporary or permanent--and do we have anything like them here?

4. The flood protection walls that are in a couple of the pictures

seem to be a very good investment and maybe certain places in the US should look into something like that.
