So the Right blames those doing what they were told is the way to do things responsibly.

This post goes along with my previous posts:

In the interview, Chris Edwards talks about how there are college students being on SNAP (a.k.a Food Stamps). There is a good reason for it, many ar sent to school, be it trade or 4 year college, to keep being on SNAP for their family's to not starve.

Chris Edwards states in the interview-

And there has been plenty of anecdotal evidence, for example -- for example, groups of people, college students now often get food stamps, and they never used to. So there's a growing sort of dependence here.

What he does not realize, or is scared to point out is the number that are sent to college to KEEP in the SNAP program. Thats right, to keep in it.

You see, many people are in school due to the "Welfare to Work" program. They go to school, most full time. They are told they will get help for their family's, allowed to get the loans to help with living expenses, and after they are finished, they could go out and get that job to pay it all off and make their family better off.

They get sent to Vocational Rehabilitation. The Voc Rehab sends them to somewhere ( places who do testing differ from place to place) to get their I.Q. tested. They also test to see if they would be good at something that needs either a trade school or something more that needs a full four year college.

The State is happy to get them in because many (if not all) do not count students in the jobless count. It is one of the many ways they play with the numbers. The idea, as it was explained to me (a news report that never got aired sadly) is that it helps to keep the number of people looking for work low "to give people an equal chance to find work".

I went to school with many in these type of programs. And yes, I mean more than one type of program.

So now they are bad mouthing those that are doing what they were told was the right way to do things. They are trying to make the best of a bad situation.

The Republicans started this and now they are ready to hurt those they sold this idea to. That is why there are college students on SNAP, they were/are told it is the best way out.
