A question about the NSA story.

I get the impression that the amount of data made available by this event is oceanic in scope. It occurs to me that it might be terribly difficult, near impossible in fact, to make any real specific use of any piece of it, because the amount of information is so enormous. Is that possible? (In other words, you're not gonna find anything interesting unless you know exactly what to look for in the first place.)
Any thoughts?

Well, Obama thought the "non-story" was important enough to speak about. Tierra_y_Libertad Jun 2013 #1

And, pursue the whistle blower (remember the campaign slogan about "transparency in government"?) who nailed the NSA.

You just have to sift through thousands upon thousands of documents until you find what you are looking for. Its the same thing with this only your not looking for anything specific, your just looking for anything that looks interesting.

And keywords. The system is very smart and evolves to learn new linguistics. Probably get pissed off at us one day and become Sky Net. You've heard of Deep Blue? This is Deep Snoop.
