(84,711 posts)just thought that BS got the breaking news so fast that she immediately went to check out who he gave to. I thought it was very quick..
I'd probably have waited to read what Snowden said in the interview.
But, so quick for $250 Bucks seemed sort of a puny contribution...and I found it amusing.

(9,766 posts)It's not at all unusual for people to switch companies frequently as a means of job growth...many times that's the best way up you career ladder.
And companies are cut throat at recruiting...remember, they make a ton of money on each person in their employ. Especially those with a proven track record, established security clearance and a specialize skill set.
Which is how he was making 200K a year at the age of 29. He's obviously good at what he did.

(37,549 posts)Or is Naval Intelligence, rather. The farthest Left is calling a defense contractor a hero? Oh, lordy, whoever thought this black-bag operation up must be pissing themselves laughing.

(1,832 posts)Retired Army MI here, been retired over two years now. I have had three contracting jobs in two years. Each one paid more than the previous one. This is VERY common in our industry.

(1,456 posts)I've had to train plenty of former DELL employees. I finally had to tell my manager "NO! No former DELL employees!"
He was forced to agree with me - based on performance.
