N.C. motel deaths: 3 mysterious deaths in same motel room, is room haunted?

The N.C. motel deaths present authorities with a mystery today as an 11-year-old boy died over the weekend in the same N.C. motel room where an elderly couple died in April. There doesn’t seem to be a clear cause of death for the three people who spent their last night alive in same Boone, N.C. motel room at a Best Western, according to NBC 14 on June 9, 2013.

The investigation of the bizarre death of 11-year-old Jeffery Lee Williams is ongoing, but it is starting to sound like a case for paranormal investigators, as "Fox and Friends" live on Monday ask if this motel room could be haunted. The body of Williams was found on Saturday inside a Best Western Motel room. Jeannie Williams, the boys mother, was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The body of the 11-year-old boy and his injured mother was discovered when the boy’s father couldn’t reach his wife and son and called the motel staff to check on his family members. What they found is unclear, but the boy was dead and his 49-year-old mother had injuries bad enough to be transported to a hospital. The extent of her injuries were not revealed.

These three deaths in the same motel room have sparked speculation that this room is haunted. Police report there's no evidence to link the two incidents. News Programs live on Monday morning ask if this hotel room could possibly be haunted?

8. There are less sensationalist articles out there about this

None of them lists a COD for the elderly people who died there and none of them detail the injury the mother suffered.

Only the Examiner article mentioned haunting. Boone is in a pretty superstitious part of a generally superstitious state so I'm not surprised "haints" are being discussed locally. I'm just surprised to see it in a print medium and posted on DU.

The information in this and the other articles is just too sparse for anyone to come to any conclusion other than two old folks and a kid died in the same motel room, months apart.

Examiner.com is a crowd-sourced "news" site. It's not a reliable source at all.

12. A friend and I recently watched as a bowl FLEW off of a microwave in a motel room.

It looked like it was thrown from the microwave top, across the room. It was really strange. And it wasn't the only thing to move around on it's own volition in that room. We got the hell out of there.

13. Peculiar goings on? At *this* motel? Why no... I haven't heard any rumors like that.

I'll be sure to listen for them if I can. I know Mother won't have heard them either. If she had heard it, believe me, I'd have heard it too - millions of times. She will prattle on, and you'll have hard time getting your ear back once she starts chewing on it.
