Good thing this isn't rush hour in DC. The city would grind to a halt.

(I'm about 30mins SE of Richmond)

It's just showing as line of medium to dark green rain over Richmond on the weather map, but the sky here is half bright, half foreboding.

edit: on the Intellicast map, anyway. CBS6 weather station shows yellow and red in the line.

I was planning an 8 mile run tomorrow.

for decent x-country skiing. Where we live, there are alot of exposed tree roots and rocks, so it's nice to have that depth to minimize the risk of "tripping" over the obstructions.

It's better if it's powdery too . It's 14 F. right now and we have 8" on the ground and it's snowing.

It was just a little cloudy and almost warm. I started out with the dog, & noticed black clouds coming in from the northwest. The dog turned right around (which is unusual for her) & headed home. 10 minutes later I look out the window & it's snowing like crazy.
