Fox Says Trayvon Martin Died Of A Street Attitude
by Abby Zimet
With jury selection for George Zimmerman's trial entering its third day, Fox News is hard at unsubtle work convincing us Trayvon Martin was a thug who deserved to die. A day after one guest argued you could kill someone with iced tea, no problem, another one - former NYPD detective Harry Houck - said Martin "would be alive today if he didn't have a street attitude." Except, you know, for those bullets. He also seems to be the only person on the planet who thinks Martin had a Coke (though it's obviously just as deadly as iced tea.) He went on to diss prosecutors' ridiculous try at "injecting something into their minds" by suggesting Martin was just "a little kid with candy walking around the street. Wait....
Listen, Trayvon Martin would be alive today, okay, if he didnt, alright, have a street attitude
Thats the bottom line.

(38,613 posts)I thought I'd heard it all when a defense lawyer on HNN Jane Valez(sp) Mitchell said Trayvon would be alive today if he'd just stayed home. Seriously! And also, that during jury pick, African Americans would probably all be disqualified because of their bias against Zimmerman. And this wasn't challenged by anyone else on the panel .. I thought, wth??
