Larry Flynt: I've Never Met A Republican Who Wasn't Racist

Legendary publisher, author and free speech advocate Larry Flynt sat down with HuffPost Live's Alyona Minkovski on Wednesday to discuss his views on partisan politics. Flynt had some harsh words for the Republican party and said he can't see any GOP candidates winning an election for the next three to five decades.

Cory can be the new Teddy or he can be VP then run for President in 8 years.

And it will be 80-20.

The Rand Paul George Wallace john birch society is history.

It takes a Clinton to defeat a Bush.

The best anyone can ever do is 60%, and even that is extremely rare. Remember, 38-40% would never vote for a Republican, and 38-40% would never vote for a Democrat. It's the remaining 20-24% that decides the election.

and it has been done in all times in the past

The only thing stopping things now is obstructionism and that is coming to an end.

He's a little too close to private equity for me. Remember his faux pas during the campaign about how the President's blasting of Romney's ties to private equity was nauseating? His days as a surrogate were immediately over following that revealing stumble.

There was a piece right here on DU a couple of days ago that's sheds light on the real Corey Booker. It's well worth reading. He sounds like a dino to me, one great at self-promoting but a dino nonetheless. Here's the link:

It makes me madder than hell.

You know how, the past 40 years, the Pubs/religious crazies deliberately sought public office, from dogcatcher to school board to mayor to state rep? Some of them ran as Dems from the beginning, but many changed designations along the way, and now they are Congresspeople, big city mayors, and presidents.

It seems either the rascist views are accepted (willfully ignored) or really strange beliefs are expressed. I go further than Larry, no modern day Republican advocates any program or legislation that benefits the Middle Class and certainly not low wage earners. The only part of Fascism Republicans have not embraced is genocide.

if Fox News presented it to them in the right way. I know Fox watchers who believe that most Muslims are terrorists. When people are that brainwashed, it's a quite simple thing to get them to go along with a 'final solution' to the problem.

It's just not obvious because it's a side effect of other repuke policies. Policies that harm and make life harder and dangerous for specific groups of people.

who I now keep in touch via Facebook, is an asian immigrant. Lived his whole life in the dole of government handouts, from being allowed to immigrate to the US, being a naval seaman on a carrier, and now a firefighter.

He opposes immigration reform or allowing anyone to immigrate to the US, he hates that money goes to pay for government workers, hates unions, hates cushy government pensions.

All this despite the fact that he has pension from being in the navy and a very cushy firefighter pension that will kick in soon, as he has to retire from active duty in the next few years. That pension was helped by having a very powerful firefighters union.

He has never lived a life dependent on customers in the private industry world.

Guess which political party he is fully committed to.

He volunteered for the navy and will get a Navy pension which probably is not much because he wasn't career Navy. Forget about the state of the VA.

I don't know how "cushy" the pension will be, but it's contingent on whether or not he, you know, dies in the line of duty or is injured or maimed.

As to the other points I'm surprised being an immigrant he's totally against immigration but feels since he fully assimilated to America others should do the same in other to be granted citizenship.

A bitter paranoid knows no other way to be.

They're now branching out their contempt . . . painting anyone in the working class as a "taker" and unappreciative of the struggles of the benevolent wealthy who contributed so much to this country's prosperity.

I've personally never met a non-racist Republican or conservative "Independent" who didn't make outright racists comments during the course of conversation. The latter are people too ashamed to admit they vote Republican in every election, but they're not too ashamed to spout racist bullshit, oddly enough.
