"it's difficult to impregnate by raping" - how exactly does he know this?

Because all reports and scientific studies say otherwise, so I'm just wondering why a man would come to this conclusion against all evidence to the contrary. Certainly he would not be purporting to speak from first-hand experience...

ETA: Attributed him to TX, he's from AZ. Sorry for blaming TX for this dimwit.

The Bible belt.

As my brother put it "Some of this stuff is so jaw droppingly stupid you don't know how to begin to answer."

I hear this stuff daily. My reply is usually, "Where do you get this stuff?"

This is another one of the idiots' ways and means of trying to say something enough times and long enough to where some other idiots start believing it. They don't care about science.

In their sickand twisted minds, if a woman can't get pregnant if raped, then any woman who actually does get pregnant wasn't "raped" - she obviously enjoyed the experience enough to allow her body to become pregnant.

Sick, sick bastards!

I first ran into this years ago at an anti-rape event, where some clown was distributing leaflets making just this claim. It's a way they can be zealots on abortion--calling for it to be prohibited even in cases of rape and incest--without having to admit to themselves or others that they're heartless jerks without an iota of compassion for women and girls.

If you took this away from them, they might actually have to think through the consequences of their hateful anti-choice, victim blaming, women and girl shaming demonology.

And we certainly couldn't have that, could we?

Because if any of their victims becomes pregnant, then they themselves are innocent of the crime of rape (in their minds).
