My Dentist just sent a letter stating that he is no longer a provider
for Delta Dental, basically saying I will be responsible for the difference
between what he charges and what Delta pays.
I really do not want to look for another dentist I like this guy.

out what dental insurance he accepts, cancel delta and get the one he accepts, pay for it out of your own pocket, or find another dentist

and what the dentist charges isn't too bad ... I just has to pay the difference

For example, many dentist give you a discount if you pay at the visit.
