(18,402 posts)Sorry, but that's the main thing I noticed. It's a tough thing to do. I think the last time I did that I was twelve.

(5,167 posts)I believe it looks much better than the straight down look.
Mrs. Obama looks quite pretty in these shots.
The President is smiling, hopefully relaxed with his daughters along for the trip.

(2,117 posts)It could be the jet lag, but it's probably more likely that the NSA scandal is wearing him down. He's taken a lot of heat for this (some of it deserved) and it's probably one of the more stressful periods of his life. I hope his schedule in Germany allows for some down time, because you just know Merkel and company are going to want to discuss the NSA stuff in full detail.

(297,285 posts)on Charlie Rose on Father's Day. Pres Obama has a calm cool demeanor most of the time. Except when he's dealiing with idiots(and then he's more in control than most). I don't think any of us would look our best when we had been in airplanes traveling the Globe until we've had some time to R&R.
The President hasn't done anything wrong.. and he knows it. He's so use to this shite.

(83,786 posts)He was magnificent in that interview!
It was so magnificent because PBO is in charge and knows what he's doing. His conscience is clear.
I see NONE of that.
He looks energetic and dynamic. He looks even better as a couple.
As for projecting any tiredness to any of our contrived U.S. politics, I'd think the challenges of travel would be a more likely culprit.
I imagine the president already in sync with our allies on his intelligence efforts. This meeting of minds will be more focused on economics than the scattershot of speculation and scandalmongering in the press..

The Obama Diary.. the place to go to for what's happening in history. And, so informative with warriors who fight back against the hate and willful igorance.

(83,786 posts)What a beautiful post of our President and his family in Berlin!
They are all our Diplomats and Chief. We are a stronger Nation due to the support from our allies. Our President has helped restore the harm the Bush years did to our Country!
Thank you!
